These dogs are sprinters they are very fast and they use this ability to hunt even their natural sense to run and catch their prey can be triggered by seeing a cat or a rodent of some kind In their homeland (Russia) they were bred to hunt wolves. Their coat is known to shed regular grooming can prevent this action also these dogs are quiet and sometimes bark, but need lots of exercises to keep them in tip-top shape.
